Authorization Objects

Hi,

i was working with a program , which works perfect under my User ID say 'A' and also with another User ' B' .

I changed that program and added one Function Module (AUTO PGI ) and it works fine under my UserID 'A'.

But when i try that changed program with another user ID 'B". It is telling that some object is missing.

I have no idea about authorization objects. Gimme some idea Pal. It is an very urgent issue.

Hi Vivek,

As the User B execute the program, it will throw the error that authorization is missing. Just after that go to transaction SU53. There you will find which authorization is missing.

just give that screen shot to your Basis consultant and then they will add that particular authorization object to user ID B.

Hello Vivek,

Other user id does not have auth for PGI Transaction like vl01n,vl02n,

Check with other user id profile ..

Hi sheshu ,

Well user 'B' are doing transaction with VL03N, so i think i need to check for the Function Module . My Basis is in leave so i need some detailed explaination .

Hi Vivek,

Only your basis can add missing authorization to the user ID. You may not be having that authorizations. You can get the missing authorization object as I told by using SU53.
