Hi,

I am new to Idocs and i have a basic question. I am configuring the partner profile for Pick/Pack and PGI activity of outbound delivery document. I am using message type SHPCON and Idoc type DELVRY01. In the Message control tab, what should i use for Message type and Process code? Do i need to create a new output type and give it in the Message type field? If yes, then what will be the Program name and Form routine.

Please help.

Thanks,

-Naga

Give the message type SHPCON and the corresponding process code. You can find all outbound process codes in transaction we41.

This is where you configure the process code to a function module.

Hope it helps.

Rgds,

Naren

Hi Naren,

Thank you for the reply. On the message control tab in WE20 transaction, i see 3 fields to be filled in Application which is V2 for shipping, then Message type - i think this is the output type even though it says message type. I dont know what to give in here, because this is an Shipping confirmation, do i need to give anything here?

I have tried WE41 transaction , and i didnt see any process code for SHPCON message type.

I guess my question will be, do i need to maintain entries in Message control tab in WE20 transaction?

Please comment.

Thanks,

Naga
