Printing doubt in report script

Hi!

In Real Time how does the report executed in after entering data in selection screen.

Does the user presses F8 or what.

and one more doubt

How to Print the SAP Script or Smartform.

Again user presses the F8 or what?

After developing the report in SE38 a TRANSACTION CODE(Report Transaction) will be attached to that report

and the user executes that Tcode the selection screen will be displayed and after entering the values he executes F8 and the data will be displayed.

Certain reports which consume lot of time will be schedules in background by setting the proper time.

Scripts/smartforms will be executed from the related Transactions only like

sales order -> VA02 or VA03

Delivery -> VL02N or VL03N

Invoice -> from VF02 or VF03

Pur order -> from ME22N or from ME9F

enter the doc no

from menu Issue output to-> printer(for printout) or screen9for print preview)

Apart from what Anji replied, the custom smartforms & sapscripts can also be displayed from custom programs..You can also trigger the forms provided by sap from your programs..
