After go live, the support you provide is called post implementation support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Supporting BDC programs incase of issues is part of post implementation support.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;BDCs will work just fine after implementing.  They have a chance of needing to be changed after an organization performs an SAP upgrade.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BDCs are tied directly to screen fields.  After an upgrade, SAP will sometimes change screens.  If they change the screen, the BDC may need to change as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
