Change pointer for Material classification

Hi All,

My requirement is to update certain related materials for an input material as a report.In the process CL20N will be called for the input material and user has to select the material characterstics to be updated.

I face a problem of tracking the changes to be posted into IDOCS as the materials updated through report.

For instance i have X as input material.I update certain characteristics and based on that i need to update some materials( say Y & Z )and their charateristics.

But I have the change log maintained only for X as it is updated using CL20N,but not for Y & Z.

Any ideas of how to track the log changes for Y & Z so that it can sent to idocs.
