I have a smartform where I need to protect the line item data inside the main window table

There are 5 columns in the line item and I am using 5 different cells for that with same line type.I have given page protection for each paragraph format in the style, but the content in the second cell is more.

Based on the second cell, the page protection is working only for second cell(column).

Thanks

Rakesh

Hi Rakesh,

When you define your Line type you can set 'No page break' checkbox. This will keep all the cells of a line on one page. If one of the cells contains more text that can fit into one page, then the system will wrap it to the next page.

If you are using 4.6 you might need to have a look at the following OSS notes: 535854, 562633, 614146, 634850, 754004, 733842 and all the associated notes. These are to fix some problems with page breaks in Smartforms.

Thanks,

Wojtek

Hi Rakesh,

Try this for page protection istead of giving page protection for each paragraph format in the style: (If you want to print all the five cells together)

In smartforms create a loop in main window. And inside loop create a Folder. In "Output Options" tab of folder there is a check box "Page Protection". Select this check box. In the Folder create all the five cells.

The above option will work only in man windows. If created window is not not a main window then make it as main window from its General Attributs tab.

Reward points for helpful answers.

Ashven
