Problem when saving variant without the default values of parameters

Hi experts,

In my report selection screen I have set default values for 2 parameters.

When I am creating a variant with values other than the default values.

It is picking the default values not the new value.

Please help me.

when you give parameters value as default then that values will only come

if you want to set parameters value by default then go for initialization event

what ever the values you define under this event will display by default in selection screen and you can change as per ur requirement

you can define like this

parameters : matnr like mara-matnr.

initialization .

matnr = '1000'.

this value by default exist in selection screen matnr feild

HI dillip,

1. How have u given the default values.

2. If u have given them while declaring the paramters,

or initialization, then it should work. (I just tried the same)

3. do not give any values in any other event like

at selection screen

at selection screen output

etc.
