Segment Addition for HRMD_A message type

Hi All,

I want to populate data in one child segment without writing user exit.

I have added one child segment(Z1P0105) under segment E1P0105 Of message type HRMD_A. Then I added entry in T777D table against infotype 0105.

But when IDOC get created its structure gets disturbed, giving syntax error.

Please tell me am I using write approach. ?

Can you tell me where am I going wrong ?

If it is not possible then please tell me in which component of exit RHALE001 should I write code for populating data in child segment.

Hi Rahul,

You need to write in 'EXIT_SAPLRHAL_003' and 'EXIT_SAPLRHAL_001' to upload the custom fields of the segments

The exits which I used are:

EXIT_SAPLRHA0_001

to populate the fields in new segment,

and

EXIT_SAPLRHA0_004

to populate the control record, where you need to specify the extension name that you created to include the new segment, in field cimtyp.
