try creating Structures are Table types which can be used as ITAB

HI,

You can create GLOBAL INTENRAL TABLE TYPES.

But not GLOBAL INTERNAL TABLES, since to store data we already have Database tables which are globally declared in the Data Dictionary.

Procedure for Table types creation

SE11->Data Type->Table Type

In the program you can use

DATA: itab type DDIC_TAB.

Hi Swathi,

The whole concept of internal table is to manipulate the data at runtime.

This replaces the concept of two dimentional array in other languages.

The power of internal tables is it gets lakhs of records at runtime. I mean it can accomodate lots of records at runtime.

So you can create a table type in DDIC and use it to declare your internal table.

Yes, You can create global internal tables for function modules.

By declaring the internal table in top include you can use this internal table all the function modules of that function group. So if one function module is filling the data another can use it as it is stored globally.

Hi,

First question is why you want to create a global internal table.If you want directly a table create it nad maintian it.

Internal table means its related to a particular program.

In case of FM if we declare a table globally it can be used by all the FM's inside the same function group.

If you wantt i use the same structure in all your programs then you cna create it in SE11.

If you have more doubts reply me back with the requiremnt.
