    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi ABAP experts,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anybody know what is the ABAP equivalent command for java System.currentTimeMillis() ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can only find "GET TIME STAMP FIELD" which gives just the date and time in a numeric format. But i really need ABAP to return the difference, measured in milliseconds, between the current time and midnight, January 1, 1970 UTC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanxs&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fredrick&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
