process idoc segment

hi all,

may i know if data portion of segment of the idoc is processed according to hierarchy defined in WE60?

for example orders05, the first segment to be processed in the loop is segment e1edk01 then followed by e1edk14 and so on, right?

Hi,

I will explain by the example.

I have defined Segements Seg1, Seg2, Seg3.

Now while defining basic type, i am using these segments as

Seg1 <<Parent segment>>

Seg2 <<Child Segment>>

Seg3 <<Child Segment>>

I have observed that in the i need to create the same structure using these 3 segments in different basic type.

Hence if i club these 3 segments into one group or....

and use it while defining new Basic type.

Please do let me know if i am not able to convey the requirement.

If this can be acheived bu some other mean then do let me know.
