Hi Anjali ,

Yes you can select data from the view ITOB as it is a Database view, the process is similar to selecting data from a database table .

Assign points if helpful

Regards

Arun

Hi,

Yes you can select the data from a view the same way you select it from a table.

There are no implication of selecting data from a view , you will get all the records which satisfy the conditions specified in the view i.e all records based on the mapping done between the fields of the tables used in the view.

Just take a view e.g.ITOB and go to the Table/join conditions , there you can see the tables used and the condition ,i.e. the mapping between the records in the tables , so all the records that satisfy that condition will be in the view.

Select * into table zview from ITOB.

Regards,

Priyanka.

You can select data from the VIEW in the same way as from a table.

View contains the logical data that is joined from different table. You can view the relation between tables in SE11 and its join conditions also

Regards

Gopi

Hi,

You can select data from any VIEW as the same way as you select data from any table. But some times it may give redundant records if the join conditions produce multiple records even though the table has single records. So, if you get redundant records you can use DISTINCT to avoid getting redundant records.

Regards,

Jashua
