error,starting CCMS Agent

Hi all,

We currently have CCMS agent version( 20040229, 64 bit, single threaded, Non-Unicode) installed on 4.6 D SAP R/3. It was running fine until we have upgrade our DB from 9i to 10 g.

When we are trying to restart CCMS agent after oracle upgrade, error is logged as below:

ERROR: RFC error during logon: 104 RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE [Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)]

WARNING: RFC client functionality configured, but logon failed for [<SID>:<Client>:<User>] ==> pushing data into CCMS cache disabled.

Could any one help in this regard.

Hello Praveen,

First check OSS note 792850 .

May be the password length is greater than 8 characters.

Check this OSS note which states the password should not be greater than 8 characters and no lower characters should be used. Try this out.
