Hi all,

In a transaction me52n, in account assignment tab, there is a field called costcenter. my requirement is though it is in display or change mode, this field should be in gray mode only. to do this, i went to shd0 transaction, and there i have given the me52n as transaction, and made the costcenter field output only by checking the check box. now, when i test there itself, it is working properly that is that costcenter field is in gray mode only though it is in change mode or display mode. but,when i am running through the transaction that is zme52n (this is the name of the screen variant i have given through the shd0) . it is not working but giving showing blank output with some stars like this *****************.

plz let me know the solution for this why it is not working.

Hi,

In the screen variant you might have selected INVISIBLE

You need to select OUTPUT ONLY.

INVISIBLE makes it password like field so what ever you write will be in ****. So you need to make it OUTPUT ONLY
