what are the different kinds of selection-screen events is abap.which event triggers at which situation

Hi,

Here are the events

INITIALIZATION: at the begining of the program.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT: before the screen is shown(PBO)

AT SELECTION-SCREEN: After any event in the UI (PAI)

AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON: this is same as above but only if the field mentioned in ON is changed.

START-OF-SELECTION: After the event AT SELECTION-SCREEN

AT LINE-SELECTION: When the user doubl clicks on the List output.

TOP-OF-PAGE: When the List is generated (Using WRITE OR ULINE OR SKIP)

END-OF-PAGE: At the end of the every page of the list output.

AT USER-COMMAND: When the user does an event like pressing ENTER etc.

are the events related to selection screen which are mainly used for the validation of the selection screen fields

Hi sandeep,

at line-selection and at selection-screen. at line-selection will trigger if the user will click on the specified line in the output program. at selection-screen will trigger at the initial screen of the program. hope this will help. Reward if useful.
