hi,

while creating the task when i try to save the task it is asking the prefix number. how to give tht prefix no and save it

Hi,

Usually this is done by basis on the development system & it requires authorization access. But you could try the following on the system you're using:

1. Tcode SWU3

2. Maintain Definition Environment->Maintain Prefix Numbers

3. Click on execute or F8

It's similar to creating number ranges..
