Need help on direct input program RAALTD01

Hi friends,

My requirement after translating data coming from legacy system is :

"After the translation, the asset master data and value must be posted to the sub-ledger using the SAP function “Legacy asset takeover, with the transaction code AS91. The assets will be internally numbered by SAP at the point of conversions"

Well I did some R&D and found out that RAALTD01 will be useful to me.

Can any one used RAALTD01 program. i) I want to confirm is this program is really useful for my requirement ? ii) I want to know more about this program.

One more additional information i would like to add is, when i run transaction AS91 with different Asset class- no. of fields in few tabs are different for different asset class.

Will this program can handle this case ?

Hi,

Program is RAALTD01 with input structure BAALTD and BALTB

You can also use RAALTD11 (or)

bapi BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE
