ALV grid

Hi Experts,

I need some clarification on ALV grid structure. I have created an ALV Grid in Module Pool. I have an icon in the Application tool bar. If i click the icon I want an extra row to be inserted in the ALV grid. This should directly reflect in the Database table that i have used in the ALV grid. Can you please help me on this.?

Hi,

Before clicking use no_out = 'X' to hide the field.

On clicking the button, try making no_out = space.

Look at the sample program BCALV_EDIT_04. Once you have got your head round this you will need to introduce some trigger that lets you knwo the user has saved the new entry. When this event/trigger has been called then you can add the code to insert the row to your DB table. An obvious choice would be to add a save icon to your ALV's toolbar - again the sample BCALV porgrams will show you how to do this.
