    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Look at the sample program BCALV_EDIT_04.  Once you have got your head round this you will need to introduce some trigger that lets you knwo the user has saved the new entry.  When this event/trigger has been called then you can add the code to insert the row to your DB table.  An obvious choice would be to add a save icon to your ALV's toolbar - again the sample BC&lt;STRONG&gt;ALV&lt;/STRONG&gt; porgrams will show you how to do this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I have created an ALV Grid in Module Pool. I have an icon in the Application tool bar. If i click the icon I want an extra row to be inserted in the ALV grid. This should directly reflect in the Database table that i have used in the ALV grid. Can you please help me on this.?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
