i got 14000 records in excel sheet, 1st row is headers(i wanna skip this row)

it's giving dump...

give the name in upper case

IMPORTING

FILE_NAME = p_file.

Declare fname type RLGRAP-FILENAME.

and declare IT_MAKT of type ALSMEX_TABLINE

DATA : IT_MAKT TYPE TABLE OF ALSMEX_TABLINE.

fname should be of type - RLGRAP-FILENAME

and IT_MAKT should be of type - ALSMEX_TABLINE

In I_END_COL put the last number of columns you want to read.

you can use the fm also 'TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP' Try this
