Standard infotype changes - 0120

Hi All,

I have to make some code changes in the std infotype 0102 - Grievances NA. My requirement is :-

1) A range from 000-999 should be available for each Employee for the Grievance Number field. P0102-GRNUM.

If a record already exists for the employee for a particular Grievance Number -GRNUM(e.g - 467) and Stage- GRSTG(e.g.- Stage1), the system should not allow to enter another record with the same Grievance Number and Stage for the same employee.i.e. No duplication should be allowed. i.e only 3 records for 1 Grievance Number as there are only 3 stages.

Please advice me how to proceed for the same.

For your 1st point grievance number is a 3 digit number ranging from 000 - 999, and if you want to make it default on the PA30 (0102) screen as next available number then just select the records from PA0102 and sort them by GRNUM.

For seond just read all the record of the employee from PA0102 where GRNUM = value entered. If sy-subrc = 0 then through an error and also pass the next available number.This should execute when the save button is press from PA30 on screen for Infotype 0102.

Hi Amit,

For the first point, i want to <b>set the range</b> of the grievence no. from 000 to 999 for every employee. How can i do that?
