hello guys can any body explain me with example for how to migrate header and item data using 2 different files for a single object.

I think you are talking about LSMW.

in step two, create two structures one for header and the other for item.

Define the source fields in each structure.

In Structure Relationships, map the header to the header target and Item to the item target structures.

Define the mapping bwteen the source and target structures.

In Specify files step, you can specify the files for the header structure and items structure.

then run the read data step.

then convert data.

finally call the direct input/batch input step .

i did exactly same as defined sap standard document but at step 9 read data,

only header file is getting read so can guys give an example.

Ravi,

I tried this using two differenct files for header and items. I have problem in assigning the item source strucute to item lsmw structure. Which says "not relevant stuructre to assign"

Please throw some light
