Just a detail: I recommend you to write "get time." just before assigning "sy-datum" and "sy-uzeit" to your variables. If you don't, you'll be assigning the same date and time for all the records you update/insert into the database.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope it helps.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; We have a report when executed updates the Client, the Document No, the Documents posting date etc into a "Y" custom table. Currently i need to add the system date and time when the record(in general sense) was updated into the table. What should be the Field name and data element that i can use to get the System date and time.
