Problem in deleting a Master Table

Hi,

Due to wrong naming convention, I created a table with correct name and would like to delete the old customizing table.

In SE11, I type the table name on Database Table, and press delete (the bin icon).

But system stops me with a prompt: <b>"Table ZCRMC_PDF is still used in ABAP Dictionary. Due to use in Dictionary objects, the deletion cannot be performed."</b>

What is the problem? How could I delete this master table??

Hi,

Right click on the info object and

select Maintain

in that you will get the Master data table

from that select the Record and delete it.

Hi Ginnie ,

Please do a where use list on the table and see where all is it used or refered. The error occurs as the table is beibg refered or used by another object.

Do a wheruse list , remove these references and then try deleting it.

First do the where used list on the table, and delete all the references, then only you will be able to delete the table.

see the where user list of the table .... so that you can see where and all the table is used..

probabily the you have made the table maintaince generator .....or in pogram used for inserted and deleting ...etc ..

so first delete the depending obect or comment the used lines ....

i think it is because of the table maintance generator ... so remove the Tcode of it and maintance generator ...then delete it...

Hi!

Before deleting a master table, data element, or domain check the dependencies on those objects. Even if the table seems to be successfully deleted you may get transportation problem if it has any dependencies. So use the where used list for the table and remove the relationship between those objects and table. But if you don't want this table to appear in another client you need to transport the deletion CR.
