LSMW-TCODE-Transportation

Hi Folks,

We have created a tcode for LSMW and moved it from Development to Quality.The T-code got moved from Dev to Quality and is available in the quality but the projects and subjects of the lsmw are not available.

1.Isn't it the way to move a LSMW from Dev to Quality.

2.Won't all the Projects and Subprojects will get moved once the tcode is moved?

hi kiran,

if i think right we cant transpot lsmw from one client another client,

if u want the same lsmw in quality even then u should create same in the quality client, it solves the problem

hi,

all the objects are need to be moved.

u must have created a request for all the objects that needs to be moved only tcode will not work.

Hi Folks,

There are two ways one is export the projects or create the same in production too. So,once we export the projects from development to quality do we have to import it again in quality?

Hi,

Again do some small minor changes to the project & subprojects in the DEV , & assign to the request .Then import the request to the quality system. it will work.

Hi,

While creating the T Code in se93 for LSMW we had assinged the Projects and Sub Projects in se93 itself and created a Transport Request which we moved from Dev to Quality.

My question is do we have to do the same in LSWM(projects and subprojects) and assign it to the same transport request and them move it ?

Is it not sufficient if we assign projects and subprojects while creating a tcode in SE93?

Hi,

it is sufficient to assign projects and subprojects while creating a tcode in SE93.

since again u r creating the TR , capture all the objects in the request & transport it.
