SmartForm table node - help with passing an internal table to SmartForm

I need to pass a table to my smartform (vblkp) but the table is not an internal table. It was defined with a table statement (in the print program). So far I've been passing tvblkp to the SmartForm. TVBLKP is defined as follows:

DATA: BEGIN OF tvblkp OCCURS 0.        "Internal table for items
        INCLUDE STRUCTURE vblkp.
DATA: END OF tvblkp.

Here is the problem. vblkp has an appended structure in it. I need to display two fields of this appended structure in a table node. The fields of the structure are not in tvblkp because they are part of an appended structure.

Basically, what I need, is to be able to pass vblkp as a table to the SmartForm. Does anybody know how I can get around this problem?

This cannot be the case.

If VBLKP is a table/structure with an appended structure, then TVBLKP will have the fields from the appended structure as well..

If you want to pass the table tvblkp to the smartform, then you have to go to the form interface section of the smartform.

Create a table referring to the table type of TVBLKP.

Then you can use that table in the TABLE node in smartform.

Hello,

Is the print program written by you? if it is, create a Z structure and pass the fields you need on it, and dont forget to add it on the smartform´s FM interface.

Ravi, I would think that the fields are there too but that is not the case. I have debugged it throughly (both in the print program and in the SmartForm) and the 10+ fields, which are in the appended structure, are not in tvblkp.

Gabriel, Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of doing that but, for some reason, I was hoping to figure out why these fields from the included structure weren't coming through to the internal table (in the print program or the smartform). I suppose tomorrow, just to get this issue over with, I will create a new structure just for these two fields; it seems like a waste though.
