easy enhancement work bench problem

Hello Gurus.

I want to add the additional fields in the crm sales transaction.

Am getting the error that r/3 system is not configured for easy enhancement work bench.

I want to transport the additional fields to r3.

Please guide me in detail how to configure eewc and eewb.

Enhancements with the Easy Enhancement Workbench in CRM

Purpose

The Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEW) allows you to enhance business objects in SAP CRM with user-defined fields and tables and distribute them to SAP ECC and the Mobile Client via the CRM Middleware.- You do not have to make any modifications for this. The EEW creates and fills customer includes automatically.

You can find more information about customer inclues and the EEW in SAP Notes 484597 and 494966.

Integration

The EEW is a development tool that can be provided by SAP NetWeaver and used by different SAP applications. You can find more information in the general documentation on the Easy Enhancement Workbench.

Features

In the EEW, an assistant guides you through the enhancement process. You call up the EEW in the SAP menu under Architecture and Technology ® Configuration ® Easy Enhancement Workbench or in the Implementation Guide under Customer Relationship Management ® CRM Cross-Application Components ® Easy Enhancement Workbench. The assistant contains exact instructions for every step that you have to take. The new fields in the ABAP Dictionary and on the user interface are then automatically generated by the system.

You can enhance objects from different CRM applications. You can find specific information about these objects in the following documentation.

Hey SKK ,

Thank you for your response, but I have an issue with configuring the EEWC .

After creating a project in eewb and providing the extensions am getting the error with

message ... system type oltp with role dev is not specified correctly.

Procedure to solve this problem is given as:Use Maintain system data (transaction EEWC) to check whether the system information for the Easy Enhancement Workbench was specified correctly.

Now can u tel the steps to configure eewc with all the details.

Hi, my name is Richard and I have been tasked with configuring the system landscape for EEWC modifications. I am battling to get the EEWB extensions to distribute accross the connected systems at our installation - R/3 & BPP. Do you have a presise step by step guide to achiever this? Thanks, Richard
