Problem with Exporting ALV Report

Hi, could someone please help?

I have this report where the column MATNR is displayed using ALV grid with the data present. However, when I download the report to a file, whether excel, text file, or even HTML, the data is not exported, although the column is there. I also noticed that when I output the report using ALV List, the data is not displayed on the report at all.

Do not click on Microsoft XL Buton

Click on Local file button ->select spreadsheet option->give file name.

extension will be .xls

See the results.

I have also tried the Export to Local File button. Same results. The Material Code column is there but the data is not.

Looks like GUI Problem ... Talk to basis guy.

one question - are you using pf-status ?

No, I'm not using a pf-status. The problem is very weird, since only the MATNR column is affected. Data from other fields are still intact.

See the fieldcatlog :

CLEAR LS_FIELDCAT.

<b>LS_FIELDCAT-REF_FIELDNAME = 'MATNR'.

LS_FIELDCAT-REF_TABNAME = 'MARA'.

</b> LS_FIELDCAT-FIELDNAME = 'MATNR'.

LS_FIELDCAT-TABNAME = 'I_SALES'.

ls_fieldcat-seltext_L = 'Material #'.

ls_fieldcat-seltext_M = 'Material #'.

ls_fieldcat-seltext_S = 'Material #'.

APPEND LS_FIELDCAT TO E01_LT_FIELDCAT.

for material number mention the fieldcatlog like this and see the results.

I have tried defining the reference table and field in the fieldcat, but now it does not display the matnr data even in the grid display. I tried setting the reference table to the internal table, the data is displayed again in grid disaplay, but still not in the list view/output file.
