Movement type 201

Hi,

I am processing the movement type 201 and it has to hit the GL account and cost center but i get the error saying GL account does not exist in the chart of accounts 001 though the GL account exists in the system. Could some one tell me how to go about it.

It sounds like the GL account is not part of the chart of account 001. Check with your functional person to see if this is a config issue or master data issue. Also, it is always advisable to post a movement type manually with your values to see if you get the same error when using the transaction. If you are getting this message in a transaction, then it is your data and/or config.

but when I go to FSP0 and check it i see this account in the chart of accounts.

Some one give me a solution for this please.
