is it possible to import or export xml or xsd files from/to sap r/3?

YES. which version of R/3 you are using and what do you want to do push xml files or other systems will pull xml files from sap

well the version is 5.0. we want both to pull and push. what about xsd format? is this a standard functionality with per case development or initial custom development per case ?
