idoc status

Hi All,

How to get the status of the Idoc which is failed. Suppose Idoc is failed giving the message 'Postal code should have length 7', Then how to get the error message if we want to get error messages based of the idoc number.

Hi,

u can get the status for the idoc in the table EDIDS.Pass the idoc number,it will give u the status.

HI,

I know that from EDIDS we get the status.. but i want to get the status text, not the status number. |f we go to EDIDS table i will get only '& must have length &' but i want 'Postal code should have length 7'. How to get ''Postal code should have length 7'. Please help

in the table u have fields stapa1 stapa2 stapa3 stapa4...

Replace & with the values in these fields..

Got it...

its through FM IDOC_GET_MESSAGE_ATTRIBUTE
