abap to xml help

hallow

i have program that move file from abap to

xml (it working o.k.) and i wont to now how i can change the encoding

to <b>utf-8</b> what i have now is:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="<b>iso-8859-8-i</b>" >

and with this encoding i cant read the file .

this is my code:

if u need to now somthihng please ask

CALL TRANSFORMATION ('ID')

SOURCE i_data = person_tab

RESULT XML xml_table.

And after I use gui_download

Hello,

Did you try changing your propriety in SAP GUI to UTF8

Start SAP logon, right click on your system, "Properties" then :

- >"advanced" and then you can choose with which format you want to upload/donwload file

or depending on your saplogon version you can have a tab "Codepage"

In Spain we have a similar problem.

We use in our web pages <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-15" > but SAP uses UTF-8 internally.

We use UTF-8 in SAP but we transform the result string with a replacement function of the encoding
