Problem with Input Field length

Hi topos.

I'm developing a modul-pool application and i have a problem.

I have an input field with length 255 and type string; and i only want to show length 25

The problem is: i can only type 25 characteres in that field.

Is there any solution for this issue???

double click on the field , and in attributes

Give

<b>Def. Length as 255

Vis Length as 25</b>

Hi,

In the property of that field,

give def lenghth as 255

visible length as 25

scrollbar as cheched.
