User Exit not getting triggered

Dear All,

I have created a User-Exit to change the communication structure for PR over all release using the following steps(ECC6.0):

1. Identified the enhancement M06B0005

2. SMOD -> M06B0005 -> components -> double click -> INCLUDE ZXM06U31 - added 'BREAK-POINT' - activated the code.

3. CMOD -> zpr_rel -> add enhancements -> M06B0005 -> COMPONENTS -> verify the user exit - > activate exit and project

When i create a PR (using ME51N) the exit doesn't get triggered.<b> I had implmented the same exit in ECC5.0 for my previous client and it is working fine and is in production.</b>

I tried even with PR release enhancement [M06B0002] and even it is not getting triggered. Can anyone please help me where i might have gone wrong??

Hi,

I believe XM06 is for purchasing documents...

Check the function group XM02 for Purchase requisition..

hi naren,

u r right. my user exit falls in the FG XM06 only. but my problem is it is not getting triggered at all. what could be the reason. (Project and Exit are in active state & also i did this in ECC5.0 Previously and working fine)

Hi,

ME51N is for purchasing requisition..XM06 is for purchase orders..

So I believe this user exit will not be triggered for purchase requisition..

Ok..Do one thing..

Put a where used list of the function module exit..Then put a break point before the function exit call..

This will tell you atleast whether the call comes to before the function exit..

Dear Naren,

The user exit is being called in the FM 'ME_REL_GENERAL_STRATEGY_EBAN' call customer-function '004'. I put on a break-point in the FM and also at all places where this FM is being called (in ME_REL_STRATEGY_REQUISITION). but still the debugger doesnt go to any of these places.

Any guess why this is happening?

It was a configuration mistake as entry for T161-GSFRG is left as blank. Sorry for troublining you all.
