Dump while using CL_SALV_GUI_TABLE_IDA

Hello Developers,

i started to use the new ALV Class CL_SALV_GUI_TABLE_IDA and i like it pretty much but unfortunately i get a dump if i either use the standard function "filter" or "change layout".

This is the error description (short):

Category ABAP Programming Error
Runtime Errors CONVT_CODEPAGE
Except. CX_SY_CONVERSION_CODEPAGE
ABAP Program CL_ABAP_CONV_IN_CE============CP

I found the note 2129716 which describes a similar issue but this note is not relevant for our System anymore. I'm on the NW7.40 with SP15.

Does anybody knows this issue? Just want to be sure whether a solution exists already before creating a new support message.

Hi,

problem solved. We have the wrong Code Page settings in the system. On an other system, where we are running already on Unicode only, i don't get this error.
