How to uplaod a file separated by commas in BDC using GUI_UPLOAD.

Hi,

Take a variable of length some 1000 characters,in a internal table.

Then take another internal table of all the fields required.

Then looping the first internal table, split the table whereever ther is a comma,

in to second Itab.

It solves the problem.

Now the second table contains all the fileds with values and u can use it for further processing.

U can do like this also...

data: begin of itab occurs 0,

line(1000),

end of itab.

i assume that you upload the data to one itab ,

loop at itab.

it_bdc-field1 = itab-line+0(10).

it_bdc-field2 = itab-line+10(15).

dependingon ur field lengths.

....

.....

...

append it_bdc.

clear it_bdc.

endloop.

use split at ',' into itab-line1, itab-line2 etc
