Error in FM tables parameters type.

Hi,

I am creating a BAPI FM with the tables parameters with a parameter as

i_ydrseg type MMCR_DRSEG.

This is similar to the type as defined in the FM MRM_INVOICE_READ as

T_DRSEG TYPE MMCR_TDRSEG.

I have declared the MMCR as types pools in the function group TOP include of the new BAPI. But still i get the error as " Type MMCR_DRSEG is unknown " .

How do i create a table parameter of the type as above ?

Pls help with your ideas.

1. Make sure u activate the top include before activating the FM.

I double-checked the TOP include for it to be Active.

Still the error persists.

How do I resolve ?

I guess this is an activation proble,

activate the TOP INCLUDE first and then activate ur FM

Hi again,

1. just to make sure whether MMCR_DRSEG

is working fine or not,

and also the type pools is working fine in top include or not.

2. do not use the parameter in import/export/tables parameter.

3. Instead, for testing purpose,

4. declare this in the source code of the FM,

and check whehter it is giving error not.

I checked in the source code and it accepts the variable created. But does not allow to declare in the Tables parameters by giving the message.

Hi again,

1. I tried the same thing.

2. Instead of BAPI (RFC enabled fm),

if we give this as normal FM,

then it will work fine.

3. But since this a RFC Enabled, it gives error.

4. Probably the workaround will be to create

a similar structure in se11 and then use here.

Hi Amit,

Yes you are right. I am trying to create the structure with the MMCR fields from the type-pools but it has duplicate entries of the some fields from different structures and gives error while creation.

Is there any way to create a type in DDIC from type-pools.

One question is givng rise to another one.

Kinldy provide some inputs.

1. No i don't think there is any automatic way for

directly creating a structure

from type-pools definition.

2. We have to create manually only.
