quantity fields on screen - Urgent

Hi Friends

I have 3 quantity fields on screen..

i m multiplying 2 quan fields and placing in 3rd quan field. But it is calculating wrong.

l1 is quan field on screen: 10.000

l2 is quan field on screen: 10.000

i m doing calculation in PAI, as l3 = ( l1 * l2 ) / 196.

Here l3 is showing wrong entry on the screen.

Any suggestions?

What is the value being displayed in the third field after calculation??

The right value is: - 0.510204......

But the decimal places are placing in left like: - 5102,04

Hi,

What I think by seeing the value is that it is a Unicode issue.

Ur Program must have the 'Unicode Checks active' checkbox checked in its Attributes. Hence this issue.

U can just use :

l3 = ( l1 * l2 ) / (196 * 1000).

This will solve ur issue.

do one thing jus place V in text field of layout , that will take of all the calculation..

like that

No..In Attributes...Fixed Point Arithmetic is not checked

unicode is checked.

It is a standard SAP program...and I am working on screen exit for these quantity fields.
