When we use each type of the function types: E,H,P,S,T.

I know exit, may be using the others unconsciously. I wait for your helps.

We use the following like:

E -- for Forcable EXIT from the screen

T -- Transaction related use

P - LOcal GUI related function

H -- Help function

S -- System related functionality

Just as some guys have said to you, there are:

E -- for Forcable EXIT from the screen

H -- Help function

P - LOcal GUI related function

S -- System related functionality

T -- Transaction related use

So:

- The type E is to trigger the modules EXIT-COMMAND event;

- The type T can be used to run the CALL TRANSACTION statament: here the function code has to be the transaction code;

- The type H is to trigger the PROCESS ON HELP REQUEST (just like F1): so you can show an help view;

- The type P is for tabstrip only: here the logic is managed at GUI level, so it's a local on your pc and it should improve the performance;

- The type S is to run a system program
