Doubt in SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 ?

Hi experts,

I use the function mod SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

to send a mail to the user.My problem is the mail is present in SOST with status Waiting.The mail to the external id gets triggered very late (maybe the job for that purpose is scheduled between large time gap). Is it possible to send the mail immediately to the user. If possible, How?

This basically depends on the settings of the server done by the Basis Team.

So check with them.

Hi Ashwin,

Yes it is possible. Just check all the parameters. I think there is a parameter to immediatly send the mail.

Thanks for the reply.

I went through the FM but found no parameter to serve the purpose.Ther is a parameter Express but it is helpful only if mail is send to sap office .For sending mail to external id through internat i do not find parameter.If you can figure out any,kindly help.

i do it in this way after the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.

WAIT UP TO 2 SECONDS.

SUBMIT RSCONN01 WITH MODE = 'INT'

WITH OUTPUT = ' '

AND RETURN.

Hi Dieter,

im haveing a problem in this same FM. the point is im using the same code in one prog then this FM is send the mail to the desired receipent where as in another prog its not sending the mail. i have written the same code and each and every step is same bt from one prog im able to send a mail while from other om not.
