Hi all,

I want to retrieve the field and field values for the characteristic description and value fields in the classification view. Please help me out, as I am not able to get the table from where I have to retrieve the data.

Check out the table CAWNT where you can find the characteristic values and its descriptions.

Hi,

You will have to query tables MARA, AUSP, CAWN and CAWNT.

- AUSP-OBJEK = MARA-MATNR.

- Get the value of ATINN and ADZHL from AUSP for the above value.

- Now you should be able to query CAWN and CAWNT using these values.

Also you can get characteristic names from CABN table.

Use function module <b>BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL</b>.

ObjectKey = Material Number

ObjectTable = MARA

ClassNum = Class number/name from the classification view

ClassType = Class Type from the classification view (for example 001)
