HR Letters Forms

Hi Gurus,

Please help me regarding in this issue. This is my first Abap HR programs and I have the requirement that i need to develop the letters like confirmation in promotion, offer letter like this. I need to develop a script for this. Please tell me what is the procedure to get the records from infotypes and logical database? What is the procedure for this? Please help me regarding in this.

It will be easier if you to copy std program and modify according to the requirement.

Hi Sai,

Thanks for your quick reply. I need to know where the standard letters is there and what are there names? They told me that for this no standard letter is there for our requirement so i need to done it from scratch. Please provide me some details how to start? and also how to get the data from infotypes.

Hi SC,

For Letters in HR, U have to use Scripts/smart forms.

Steps1: - Create One Customized infotye using fields like Empname/empno/lettertype/manager name based on u r req on the letter header

Step2: Create Standard SO10 Objects. In that type the Letter Body Text.

Step 3: Create 1 ZTABLE with the Fields (Standadrt Object name/Letter type/---Fields)

Step4: Create one Layout using Script/smart Form

Step5: Crete buttons on u r Custom Infotype( Display Letter/ Print Letter)

Step5 : Write Code in u r PAI of ur Custom Infotype When ever Enduser presses the Buttons first it will check for the letter in Ztable Letter Type, If it is Found then It reads the data from SO10 and place it on to Script/smartform along with the infotype screen fields
