topic fiscal year in Application Development and Automation Discussions

I have two fields on my initial screen from FAGLFLEXT table ie RPYEAR [fiscal year] which should be defaulted to current fiscal year and RPMAX [period] should be defaulted to (period - 1). Could anyone help me achieve this functionality.

if it is module pool programming , u can initialize the values in PBO

MODULE INITIALIZE_VALUES.

MODULE INITIALIZE_VALUES.

FAGLFLEXT-RPYEAR = sy-datum+0(4).
FAGLFLEXT-RPMAX = '001'.

You can assign the value in PBO module of the Screen

Report Programming:

Assign value in INITIALIZATION event.

Code:

RPYEAR = sy-datum(4).

RPMAX = '01'
