REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE

We're in the process of upgrading from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and ran across an issue with reports using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

In the TOP-OF-PAGE event, we are passing header info using FM REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE and it creates a comment section above the ALV with the header info.

In ECC 6.0, that info isn't showing anymore. Has anyone run into this issue?

Otherwise, is there a way to create the same functionality using the OO method?

Hi Robert,

Are you getting a blank area in the place of the header?

There must be some problem with the SAP GUI.

Reinstall or install the latest patch for the SAP GUI.

yes, a blank area is appearing there. i'll talk to BASIS about a patch for the GUI.

I should note, that i have another report based on RHSTRU00 (headcount report) that works fine. it shows the area.

But, this is using OO ALV_TREE_CONTROL

Are you getting the heading for BALVST02_GRID program?

If yes, just, compare your prog
