hi all,

. if I write SY-LSIND=10 and suppose 10th list is not there will it show error or something else? If error what will be error? If something else what will be that display?

report program is a stand alone program can u tell me what is meant by “standalone”?

in open sql automatic client handling is possible . what it means?

Hi,

1) There will be no error if the 10th list is not there..It will not show any error..It will just proceed with the next list..

3) In the OPEN SQL you don't have specify the CLIENT..Automatically it will get the data on the client it is running..You can also specify client by using the addition CLIENT SPECIFIED in the select statement.

If you write sy-lsind = 10,if no data then it displays previous list data.

if you double click on up to 20th list and then finally you get short dump.

SAP we have one basic list and 20 secondary list,upto 20 secondary list ,you can double click,once you reached 20th list and again you get short dump,system will understand only 20 secondary list

Standalone means configuring from the scrach.

As per me it will not throw an error for this type..Because if its not there means it will position to the last list which we haveing..
