oss note

Hi friends,

I have got the oss no. in that oss note no he has give some instructions to

create some structure and create some report in se38 and copy paste correction instructions, and activate it, for this i went to tr snote and i found my oss note in

new items. But my main doubt is how to proceed. can any one help me its

urgent.

Note Implementations will be in 2 ways.

1.Automatic---> here u will get Blue Icon at the start of Note.

2.Manual--->gray Icon.

in ur case , u have to do it manullly , open table/structure in Se11 , and do as per note.

Hi Sharma,

Apparently you can't use SNOTE to implement this note. Could you please tell us the number?

You have to follow the instructions in the text: create the structures with SE11, the reports in SE38 and copy the code in the note (in the correction instruction you can see the code for all reports) in the corresponding reports.

Thanks fro your replay. my note no is 992587 in this note he has given some

instructions, then how can i start now. ie whether using tcode snote or how pls.

Hello sharma,

You have to follow those steps:

Implementing the report: it is described how you have to create each structures/reports.

Step 1: manually create structure.

For step 2b) Copy the source code for the report from the correction

instructions into your system.

You can directly paste the source code that is in the correction instruction. But you have to be sure it corresponds to your release/SP as there are 4 correction instructions:

SAP_APPL 46C

SAP_APPL 600

SAP_APPL 500

SAP_APPL 470

Then continue with the remaining steps...

Hi watler,

Thanks for your instructions, but how can i get that source code ie in correction

instruction, in my document they have given support packages as SAP_APPL

release 500 and SAP_APPL release 600, and in creation of structure they have

given some structure name without 'z' then i want to ask access key from our

basis people or start with 'z'. Then what is tcode SNOTE, whether i want to

create directly or by using tcode SNOTE.

For this note, you can use SNOTE to create automatically this report.

Just start SNOTE, then start note-browser (CtrlF9), enter the note number and continue (F8) then start implementation (CtrlF1). This will select the right correction instruction for you and create the REPS.

But first you have to create the structure described in point 1.

You will have to ask for an access key. If you change the name, you will have to manually update the report.

Then their is no need to create that report in se38. ie it will take that report

automatically.

Yes, I you choose to implement the note with SNOTE, you don't need to create the report with se38.
