Partner Modification in exit

When we create a Sales Order and enter Sold to party say X we get a popup displaying a list of ship to parties as Y and Z. Suppose I want to change the values Y and Z in pop up to say A and B based on some condition , Can I do it in the user exit EXIT_SAPLV09A_003. or do I need to code the condition some where else. Any inputs on this highly appreciated. A sample code would be wonderful.

you can write the code in the exit EXIT_SAPLV09A_003, you have the proper docu there.

But which internal table fieds do I need to change. Normally in MV45afzz we modify the XVBPA internal table.
