BDC recording steps

could anyone help me out in knowing the BDC recording steps in detail for co11n.

go for SHDB tcode and select the recoding give the recording name and transaction u want to record and press enter.

hi ra y,

go to t code sm35.
Press recording button.
then new recording.
in Recording :give name for your recording.
In transaction code give co11n.
Then press start recording....

This will start the recording ... then enter essential field in the intila screen and on every steps you perfomr there after every actions will be captured by the recorder...

Recording will be stopped as soon as you press save button.. this is how you do recording...

Hi,

Steps:

1. Work out the transaction you would use to create the data manually.

2. Use transaction SHDB to record the creation of one material master data.

Click the New recording button or the Menu - Recording - Create

3. Save the recording, and then go back a screen and go to the overview.

4. Select the recording and click on Edit - Create Program. Give the program a Z name, and select transfer from recording.

1 . go to sm35 transaction

2 . press recording button

3 . press new recording .

4 . give the recording name and transaction code as co11n, update mode as asynchronus

5 . then press the start recording button

6 the transaction starts . enter the values on the screen

7 . then press save button the recording is saved and press back .

8 If u want to generate the program for it press the program button .

Hi,

Steps used in Recording

1) Start by going to SHDB transaction. There, on top left corner, you will see the "New Recording" button.

2) After clicking on the new recording button, you will be presented with a screen to specify the name of this recording, AND, the transaction which you want to record. Fill these up, and click on "Start Recording" button.

3) Handle the transaction just like normal. However, you should know that all that you do in the transaction are captured.

4) Once you finish the transaction, the screen will return to SHDB transaction. You will see a number of instructions. This is not of much interest to us at this point. Just save this recording by clicking on the "Save" icon at the top.

5) Once saved, click on the "Back" button to display a list of recordings. By default, the recording you just did will be the only one shown on the screen.

6) Select this row, and then, click on "Generate Program" from the top middle tool bar.

7) Select the program type as executable, and fill up other attributes, like short description..etc.

😎 When asked for a package, for now, select the local object.

Usually, what you will be doing, is to use this code that is generated as a skeleton, and the data will be got dynamically.

After you have come back to the same transaction i.e. sm35 ..to save the recording that you have done ... please go back then press save button...

after that a screen come .. in that select the recoding name in which you have done the recording for any transaction....

then select progarm and then enter the program name and other attributes and

then press 'SOURCE Code' key ....

so this will save the BDC in a program....

This is how a BDC Program is generated......

1.Go to transaction SHDB

2.create a new recording..

3.Give a name to it and enter the T-code(CO11N) for which the recoding should start

4.It will take you to the transaction screen.enter all the required data in the transaction screen.

5.when the data has been entered then save it and go back.

now the recording has been completed.

from the transaction SHDB transfer the recording to ur Report program.
