Deep Structure in DDIC

Hi,

I have a internal table with a deep structure to modify the color of cells in an ALV Grid. I want to save that table in the DDIC but I read that Fields in a DDIC-Table must have a Flat Structure.

Any Ideas how I can handle this?

I am assuming that one row of your internal table has some fields which are themselves tables ?

If this is what you want to achieve...then use table types.

Define a table type with the structure of the nested table.

Then while defining the internal table structure, keep the table type as one of the elements.

Hi,

I am already using the Table Type LVC_T_STYL as one of the Elements. I can define Deep Structures and Deep Table Types with these Structures but no Tables.

Index Tables can save deep Structure Tables in the Dictionary.
