suppose ur doing implimentation r support first where did u get spec from functional cons. r tl......?

suppose u have any issue whom to interact u?

Hi,

It actually depends on how the team has been placed in the project.

The communication can happen in any combination unless and unless your project manager or project leader defines the lines.

Hi Sheik,

Basically Functional people prepare the spec and send it to Teamlead. then he will see and how is the suitable person for this.

Then he will send through internal mail to the employee. if he have any qreries he will inform to teamlead if he know he will clarify the doubt otherwise he will give functional people mailid or number directly we can clarify the doubt.

It all depends on how your hierarchy is built.

During the implementation phase,

1. you have a project manager.

2. Functional/technical lead

some times based on the project manager's experience, he can also act as functional team head.

Usullay Functional consultants prepare functional/business spec discussing the requirements with the user.

He passes the same to technical lead/ concerned technical consultant.

He/she prepares the technical spec, and the person assigned starts the coding.

After developing the code person informs the technical team lead/functional consultant for the testing etc....

If testing is done thoroughly by both technical and functional consultant, the request will be moved to Quality/test system from development system.

In support:

If you have onsite technical coordinator, he sends you technical spec,

otherwise, Functional consultant prepares functional spec and send accross to technical consultant to prepare technical spec and start the coding.
