Hi,

In my lsmw prgram, i use recording option. Here to one of the field i need to assign Todays date.

But the date displayed in the Transaction is yyyymmdd.

I need in the format mm/dd/yyyy. How to change the format

Pls help

In LSMW's 4th step you have some ABAP part na.

There u can change it na?

In SAP all date fieldsa re stored in YYYYMMDD format only

You can assign the same date to that field or assign SY-DATUM to that field

You can convert the format using EDIT MASK

or split the date,month and year and concatenate and can use

Create a routine to convert the format:

WRITE SY-DATUM TO WA MM/DD/YYYY

Hi prabha,

In the sixth step of LSMW before assigning file we write routine of user define. here change the date format to desired format using concatenate stmt.
